Important Notice: Orphaned Pensioners
The Social & Health Insurances, SZV would like to inform all parents, guardians and persons responsible for orphaned pensioners, between the ages of 15 and 24, that a school statement for the new school year must be submitted before August 25th, 2016. The orphan can only continue to receive payment of their orphan’s pension if this school declaration has been submitted.
Children between the ages of 15 and 24 are entitled to an orphan’s pension if they are attending school on a fulltime basis or if they are disabled. If the orphan is disabled, a medical certificate must be submitted. If the school declaration or medical certificate has not been submitted, the orphan’s pension will be blocked effective September 1st, 2016.
