SZV congratulates SMMC on signing of DMB contract for new hospital

For SZV, the new hospital would mean improved health care facilities locally for our customers and their families. SZV currently spends approximately NAF 20 – NAF 30 million per year in medical referrals abroad for our customers. The new hospital will be able to facilitate new services which would reduce the need for medical referrals abroad and allow SZV to re-allocate its funds towards further improvement of healthcare services.

The new hospital is scheduled to be completed in 2019. The current SMMC will remain fully operational throughout the construction phases which is scheduled to commence this year.

SMMC Director, supervisory board, management, physicians, staff welcomed Government officials and the representatives from INSO, APS and Tripartite representatives VSA and SZV to witness this commemorative event.
