SZV assisting USM for COVID-19 social impact research
“This study is a great opportunity for SZV to support the USM in building their capacity to further groom their students as qualitative researchers. This is the first study in the history of Sint Maarten, Curaçao and Aruba to receive subsidy from the Dutch Research Council. We look forward to assisting in this important work, that will be of benefit to all three islands.” - Mrs. Parveen Boertje Chief Customer Care Officer at SZV
The research project is geared towards understanding how the measures addressing the COVID-19 pandemic crisis have affected the vulnerable sectors of our population. Together with the consortium of institutions involved in Upholding Human Rights, USM hopes to provide recommendations to improve government and NGO responses in future disasters or pandemics.
