What to do after I visit the Control Doctor at SZV?

1. Take your yellow/blue card to your job.

2. If the control doctor of SZV confirms that you are sick, you are entitled to receive a sick-pay via your employer (AO-allowance) for the days you were unfit for work.

3. All chronic (long-term) illnesses have an expiration date of two years after the first visit to SZV. After this your employer will no longer receive reimbursement for loss of wages from SZV.

Note: Your employer is not obligated to continue paying you sick-pay after the 2 years has passed. This is called the “expiration of illness”. If this occurs you (and your employer) will be informed one (1) month in advance by SZV of the impending expiration date. You will be required to sign documentation acknowledging the receipt of this notification.
