Corporate Secretary
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Corporate Secretariat Department. The Corporate Secretary plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing key policies, recommendations, and organizational tasks. This role is responsible for transforming strategies into concrete guidelines and regulations aligned with our company's vision while overseeing critical internal and external relationships and navigating complex communication challenges and legal decisions.
The Corporate Secretary reports directly to the Director.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the work progress of the Corporate Secretariat Department.
- Act as an advisor and confidant to the Executive Team.
- Identify relevant developments, conduct analyses, and draft policy proposals.
- Draft policy briefs and advise on decision-making procedures.
- Record minutes, communicate actions and/or decisions, and ensure follow-up.
- Manage and coordinate the Director’s agenda.
- Handle incoming communications, assess urgency, and provide referrals.
- Act as a gatekeeper for the director, managing incoming calls and visitors.
- Manage documents and archives, both digitally and physically.
- Offer advice and support for effective stakeholder relationship management.
- Coordinate information requests, complaints, and organizational issues.
- Manage risks associated with internal and external communications and legal decisions.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of social and health insurance laws.
- Effective stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
Education & Experience:
- Master's Degree in Public Administration, Public Health Policy and Management, or Law.
- Minimum five (5) years relevant experience.
- Experience in policy development.
