Monitoring & Reporting Manager

We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Monitoring & Reporting Manager to join our Monitoring & Reporting Department. In this role, you will contribute to strengthening the organization’s oversight by supporting effective monitoring, accurate reporting, and data-driven insights that inform decision-making.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the Monitoring & Reporting Department by planning, prioritizing, and monitoring activities, coaching and supporting employees, ensuring effective internal communication, and maintaining accurate personnel records.
- Drive Financial Planning & Performance by preparing annual and multi-year budgets for SZV, monitoring financial performance and budget adjustments, tracking expenditure and revenues, and advising on budget reallocations.
- Ensure Governance & Control by drafting process descriptions in accordance with SZV format, participating in relevant project groups to improve operational efficiency, and guiding financial decisions.
- Oversee Reporting & Compliance by collecting, analyzing, and reporting on financial, non-financial, and economic data, preparing monthly and quarterly reports, coordinating audit and annual reporting processes, and engaging with external auditors to deliver SZV’s Annual Reports and Financial Statements.
- Lead Procurement Governance by developing and maintaining the joint procurement policy, preparing the annual procurement plan for strategic and high-value procurements, and ensuring a compliant purchasing process with support in drafting requirements, supplier selection, and order placement.
- Manage Liquidity & Investment Performance by adjusting liquidity forecasts, developing investment proposals, updating the Investment Policy Statement, monitoring local and international portfolios for performance and compliance, and coordinating Asset Liability Management studies.
Education & Experience:
- Education: Master’s (WO)
- Major: Business Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent.
- Additional Theoretical Knowledge: None.
- Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of International Accounting Standards, financial management principles, Microsoft applications, and financial software tools.
Leadership & Communication:
Proven ability to lead teams, collaborate with management, communicate with internal & external stakeholders (auditors, actuaries, procurement partners), and drive organizational contribution through sound advice and decision-making.
