People Operations Specialist
Would you like to make a real impact on the employee experience at SZV? We’re looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our People & Culture Department. In this role, you’ll help create a positive employee experience by managing key processes, including benefits, payroll, personnel compliance, and administration. Your work will directly support our people-centric culture and contribute to a supportive, efficient workplace for all SZV colleagues.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, and policies, ensuring timely and accurate support.
- Ensure employee operations comply with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies, while advising on necessary updates.
- Administer employee benefits and execute payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Monitor budgets and financial activities, maintain accurate records, and provide analytical reports and metrics to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the employee information system, ensuring timely and accurate updates to records.
- Prepare and analyze workforce reports (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, discrepancies) to identify trends, provide insights, and support data-driven decisions.
- Liaise with employees and external providers regarding medical entitlements, benefits, invoices, and system processes.
- Leverage employee technology platforms and self-service tools to enhance operational efficiency and improve overall employee experience.
- Lead the medical administration process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion while identifying opportunities for improvement.
Knowledge & Skills:
- IT savvy with strong administrative skills and experience using technical platforms; payroll knowledge is a plus. Strong knowledge of labor laws and employee policies.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong analytical proficiency to translate complex data into data-driven communication.
Education & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ administrative experience with proven proficiency in IT systems, data analytics, and technology-driven processes.
