Our sponsorship policy forms a guide to ensure that we can continue to support great initiatives and projects that help build and sustain positive outcomes for the community of St. Maarten. If you are interested in requesting sponsorship from SZV. Please use the guideline below as your reference before submitting your online application.

Sponsorship consideration:

SZV welcomes and encourages all sponsorship requests that are consistent to SZV’s mission, vision and core values. This includes but is not limited to educational, sports and health related activities. SZV will not contribute in any form to any association with public groups that may reflect negatively on the company image. All sponsorships or donation agreements will be established in a manner that ensures fairness and results in a balance of benefits for SZV, the applicant requesting sponsorship and the community of St. Maarten.

SZV does not fund:

- Multiple contributions to the same applicant during one fiscal year. This also applies to all organizations including those currently receiving funding through a major fundraising campaign or an amalgamated campaign.

- Initiatives outside Dutch St. Maarten

- Religious organizations

- Student travel or playgrounds for public, private or religious schools

- Boards of Trade, Chambers of Commerce or service clubs

- Registration fees

- Political organizations; advocacy and lobbying of activities

- Statutes, monuments, art work or beautification projects

- Any activity or relation to tobacco or alcohol use

- Carnival troupes or individual revelers

- Pageant contestants (carnival or other)

- Sponsorship for personal goals

Criteria:

- Must be registered on Dutch St. Maarten

- Must have a bank account on Dutch St.Maarten

- Applications must be submitted via online application form

- Applicants must demonstrate fiscal responsibility and managerial competence for amounts exceeding ANG. 4500,- and provide background information to support their request.

- Priority will be given to projects that fulfill a recognized need and benefit to the community-at-large.

 Application review and approval:

All requests must be submitted digitally via the online form below. Applications will be reviewed within 14 working days after submission. Approval or denial of an application will be given via e-mail to the applicant.
